§ to increase learners’motivation to be autonomous in the

learning process

§ to develop a learning pathway for implementation in

language coaching (both

on an organizational and individual level)

§ To identify specific problems of our learners

§ To give special support for this target group in order to avoid social exclusion

§ To create a learning path (road map) to help learners reflect on their learning process

§ specific objectives are:

to promote awareness in each partner about counseling and mentoring

to develop partners’ skills in implementing an individual learning path

to create an instrument that will be part of partners’ standard offering

Activities

§ October 2010 – March 2011

- kick-off meeting Pamplona

- SWOT analysis of at least one counseling method in function of the needs defined in Pamplona

§ March - April 2011: meeting Malmö

- presentation of the SWOT-analysis

- draft of the roadmap: criteria, content, formal requirements

- interim report

§ September 2011: meeting Odense

- discussion on the roadmap

- visit the local counseling platform and experience counseling methods

§ October 2011 – February 2012

- each partner works on the roadmap

- feedback of learners

- test run of the roadmap in some institutions

§ March 2012: meeting Turkey

- experiences with the roadmap will be shared with the partners

- improvement of the roadmap

- experience a language course for adults

§ June 2012: meeting Belgium - transnational workshop by teachers who share the instrument and are prepared to talk about their conclusions

§ July 2012 – September 2012: final report
